about
Scape One is Kurt Baggaley, a producer from the south of England. He gained attention with his releases as Scape One writing for labels like Electrix, SCSI-AV and Templedog. He has been writing since the 1980's, using mainly analog hardware.
The track was written at The Command Module (my project studio) using Roland TR-808 and SH-101 as the main drive in the track, other Synths such as the Prophet 8, Nord Rack, Mopho and Bombass were all triggered by an AKAI MPC2000XL, mixed down onto Yamaha digital desk with direct digital recording onto laptop. The feel of the track is a night drive through the galaxy on planets that are usually off-limits. Inspiration for this comes from the masters, Larry Heard, David Storrs, Newcleus and Manuel Göttsching.

Another really well produced EP on Brokntoys. Four beautiful tracks, each one a catchy Ohrwurm, so it's hard for me to choose a favorite (again). Personally, the soundscape totally reminds me of the mid-90s. Modern electro mixes perfectly with IDM elements. Wonderfully done. Thank you for this beautiful work. My rating 4.75/5 quzani
